The Balvenie French Oak 16 Year Old is a vibrant Single Malt Scotch Whisky finished in casks that previously held wine from the French Charentes vineyards. Maturation in American oak casks brings an abundance of vanilla spice and warm honey notes. After 16 years it is finished in Pineau casks to bring energizing grapefruit, geranium, glazed fruit and ginger. Best enjoyed neat, on the rocks or with a splash of water to expand the flavor.
